BY BOOKING ANY SERVICE provided by RELIABLE MOVING CO LLC OR ITS AFFILIATES, Any and all Customers AGREE TO ENTER INTO A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT WITH RELIABLE MOVING CO LLC AND/OR ITS AFFILIATES AND IS SUBJECT TO ALL TERMS, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES DESCRIBED ON THIS PAGE, WITHOUT EXCEPTIONS OR LIMITATIONs.

 

MOVE DEPOSIT TERMS

 THE DEPOSIT FOR YOUR MOVE SERVES TO SECURE THE DATE AND TIME OF YOUR MOVE ON OUR SCHEDULE ONCE PAID. THIS DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON OTHER THAN PER THE SOLE WRITTEN REQUEST OF RELIABLE MOVING CO LLC DUE TO A COMPLETE JOB CANCELlATION SOLELY administered BY RELIABLE MOVING CO LLC. IT IS NON-REFUNDABLE IF THE CUSTOMER CANCELS THEIR MOVE FOR ANY REASON OR NEEDS TO MOVE THE DATE AND/OR TIME OF THE MOVE TO A NEW DATE AND/OR TIME THAT RELIABLE MOVING CO LLC IS UNAVAILABLE.


rescheduling policy

 In the event that you need to reschedule your move, please let us know immediately. If you need to reschedule at any time, this will result in a 15% (Of Total Cost) or $150 fee, whichever is greater, per occurrence.

for same day bookings, the same fee structure applies.


coverage of customer’s items - terms


RElease value coverage (Included at no extra charge)

The complimentary coverage included with every move matches federal Released Value Protection parameters of $0.60 PER POUND, PER ITEM/ARTICLE that is undoubtedly proven to have been damaged solely by a crew member’s direct individual action(s) of known negligence during the moving or transport of item(s). This does not cover any damage caused at any point after the items have been unloaded into the unload location or the job is completed, whichever occurs first. Any and all claims of damage must be submitted to Reliable Moving Co LLC in writing via email within 48 hours of the end time of the move and must include at least 2 pictures per item/article involved in said claim as well as a full description. All properly submitted claims will be reviewed within 7 business days from receipt and all properly submitted claims that are then deemed worthy will be submitted for reimbursement via the General Liability Insurance Policy.

 Full Value Protection (Additional charge if selected):

Full Value Protection can be purchased by the Customer to cover all included items up to the pre-designated valuation amount or current market value/item condition provided by the Customer prior to the move being booked. The cost of Full Value Protection, subject to chosen deductible amount and Customer’s designated valuation of items, will be provided to the Customer at their request prior to the move being booked. Failure by Customer to purchase Full Value Protection prior to move therefore binds Customer to all terms of complimentary Released Value Protection listed above.

Items are NOT covered from damage due to, but not limited to, the following: 

1) Normal Wear and Tear while being moved or transported, even if packed, wrapped or secured.

2) Resulting from/of a Natural Disaster or Act of God both directly and/or indirectly.

3) Resulting from/of the Natural/Normal/Reasonable Shifting and/or Movement of being transported on public/private roads.

4) Resulting from/of Poor Packing by Customer or Any Lack of Full and Honest Intent by Customer to pack any and all items to be fully transported without damage.

5) Any and all items that are perishable, dangerous or hazardous materials without first fully notifying all crew members before item is exposed to and/or touched by any crew member. Some items in this category may not be legal or chosen to be transported by crew members.

Full Value Protection Provides Moving Company With 3 Options To Fix Problem (Moving Company Decides Outcome and Option Used):

1) Repair the item to same condition as it was when the item was moved by Moving Company

2) Replace the item w/ another item of like-kind, condition and value

3) Offer lump sum of money for the estimated cost of the repair or current replacement value

Protection Tier Costs:

$0 Deductible: V x .05 (5% of Customer declared Total Value)

$500 Deductible: V x .03 (3% of Customer Stated Total Valuation)

$1,000 Deductible: V x .02 (2% of Customer Stated Total Valuation)

$2,000 Deductible: V x .01 (1% of Customer Stated Total Valuation)

V = Customer Stated Total Valuation
*minimum cost for full value protection is $100*


Full Value Protection does not cover any items due to, but not limited to, the following situations:

  • Any and All Items Valued At Amount Greater Than $100/Pound Unless Customer Provides Written List of Each Item and Its Individual Valuation

  • Any and All Items Packed, Handled or Moved by Customer

  • Presence or Damage From Natural Disasters

  • Any and All Items in Storage That Is Not Owned and Maintained Solely By Moving Company

  • Presence or Damage From Mold & Mildew

  • Presence or Damage From Mechanical or Electrical Accidents

  • Presence or Damage From Moths and Insects


Final payment/saved card on file TERMS

 a debit/credit card must be saved on file at the time that a customer pays the deposit to book a move. this ensures that we are able to process the final payment for all services rendered on the day of the move. A customer can choose to pay the final payment with a different card or accepted payment method different than the debit/credit card that is on file, but one must be saved on file when booking a move. by choosing to pay the deposit and book a move, the customer agrees to and authorizes reliable moving co llc in its entirety to process payment(s) for all charges accrued for all current and future services rendered.

failure to pay, late fees and taking possession of customer property as collateral

IN THE EVENT THAT YOU FAIL TO PAY THE BALANCE DUE IN ITS ENTIRETY, AN IMMEDIATE FLAT LATE FEE OF $25 WILL BE ADDED TO THE BALANCE DUE. ADDITIONAL LATE FEES WILL BEGIN TO ACCRUE THE DAY AFTER THE MOVE IS COMPLETED AT A DAILY RATE OF 2% OF THE TOTAL DAILY BALANCE DUE PER DAY UNTIL THE BALANCE IS PAID IN FULL.

reliable moving co llc shall take immediate possession of whatever item(s) of customer’s property it deems to be equal to the approximate fair market value of the entire balance due as collateral. Reliable Moving co llc will maintain possession of the item(s) etiher until the customer has paid the balance in full or until 30 days has past since the day of the customer’s move, whichever ocurrs first. customer waives and releases reliable moving co llc and/or its affiliates from any and all liability of any item(s) held as collateral in its entirety, without EXCEPTION. once 30 days has past from the customer’s move date, the item(s) held as collateral shall become the sole possession of Reliable moving co llc, to which it may sell, gift, retain or otherwise use in any way, however deemed necessary without limitation. the customer’s balance may still be due dependent on the value and situation, and reliable moving co llc may seek to collect balance due by means not limited to but including litigation, collections, subpoena, or other means.
